WIP Potted Plant

Watercolor paper, stretched down on board, mechanical pencil .7, watercolors

Apologize for the bad lighting, the main lights were off and the girl's shadow next to me was in the way;
It's a real plant but the flowers are fake and we had to arrange them in a certain way. It took forever to figure out kind of arrangement I wanted, plus I was working with a partner. Also the plant is originally red; the green parts that are shown. I changed it to green because the pot was also red and I felt there would have been too much red and when I think plants I think green.

Maybe next time I should take a picture of both hers and mine since everything we do in that class we're very opposites. A lot of her work is organic and lively and apparently the stuff I do is very analytical.
